Whenever I hear about this or that tax or a regulatory proposal that would unfairly penalize the most productive members of society and I’ve heard it a lot lately I have to wonder when and why we began equating wealth with productivity. By that measure, folks like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen are among our most productive citizens.
