REDWOOD FALLS — A Republican state senator running for Congress says Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton popped pills during a meeting earlier this year. Continue Reading

I suppose we should be thankful that he stays on the meds, who knows how bizarre he would be off the meds.

OMG, another self righteous candidate using words to presume the Govenor is doing something wrong! Who cares, more then likely the Gov like many other Americans take prescription drugs given to them by their doctor. Now is there a law that states when you should take your presriptions or is that another issue the Republicans want to change? Gee, give it a rest already!!Stay out of peoples lives and worry about your own life…

Dayton always has a very disturbing look in his eyes so we should all be glad he was taking his antipsychotic medications.

When someone has to try and present falsehoods means they are feeling insecure and are looking for anything to turn things around for them. Gov Dayton is an upstanding Politican whose medical or prescriptions are no ones business, does anyone including this Republican Senator know the law regarding someones medical issues and prescriptions? I am still laughing at this idiotic attempt to blackball the Gov. its amusing what some will do to get their name in the media…This guy better be careful or he can end up in civil court!

Are you holding the same standards to Senator Reid and Representative Peloosi regarding statements of someone not paying taxes?

j d presz b o has done nothing but give us falsehoods on HIMself, His administration, etc. j d you buy all that with a wink of your eye, and then post about DFLer Gov Dayton being so up and front. You do need to get off your DFLer High-horse and look at them and their doings, with out winking. If you so do , you will see for yourself where the down fall of your Party falls i e on their elected and ones that ;put them there.

tj but you are not the leader of 5 ,345,837 Minnesotans. DFLer Gov Dayton does not approve or like the most of the 202 lawmakers in St Paul in both houses so HE DFLer Gov Dayton writes his own laws(executive orders) and by-passes the 202 lawmakers, elected to do so . This HE does while popping pills? No matter what job these PILLS are to do. I feel while he is using any sort of Pills, HE (DFLer Dayton) should let his Lt. Gov. run the show or just not show up for work. Just as DFLer Senator Dayton did when HE left our U.S. Senate seat empty while undergoing TREATMENT when He was in Wash D. C

I see your point and thank you for being polite. One thing though, the guy doing the complaining looks a little odd himself. Look at his eyes…are they not a bit strange?

DFLer mark dayton didn’t give a hoot about ANY law when HE, His Family, The Party started slamming the GOP person running for GOV. even before HE knew HE was, about his Medical problem, drinking. DFLer Dayton spent millions of dollars telling us Minnesotans that Tom had a medical problem–note — same as DFLer DAyton, BUT the GOP did not speak, show, etc one word about, May a little when HE went for treatment and left us one short in the U,S. Senate.

So B.M. Your posting that DFLer Gov Dayton does not have a drinking problem? You are the only DFLer that doesn’t think so. Hasn’t DFLer Gov Dayton, even in HIS own words told us so? If so, where are you coming from?

There was a comment made (and Lord help me I gave up reading most of what was written up there) about a Governor popping pills, and if they do so, they shouldn’t make decisions … hmmmmmmmmm now if we have a female Governor and she takes birth control pills does that mean she is not fit for duty? Just asking the question!

Sorry to be blunt here but that comparison is so out of line is totally absurb.
The Gov is taking a dozen pills some of which we now are mind altering and can affect his decision making capability. From your comment it appears that you are saying that birth control bills have the same affect and that all women who use the medication are untrustworthy to hold political office. That is just shamefull!
