Mike Parry is a buffoon, with a history of gaffes and missteps and misstatements. What possible reason, other than desperation or pandering to the right wing of the party, could he have for raising this issue now? Gov. Dayton is not running for office, so the personal attack / innuendo is ridiculous.
If he gets the party’s nod to run against Congressman Walz, we can further question the ignorance of the electorate. And Walz will have an even easier time getting re-elected.
Here’s an interesting article, which includes the results of a recent Mankato Free Press poll. Note that Parry came in 3rd, in a 2 man race, finishing behind “neither”. He’s becoming desperate to avoid a thrashing in the primary.
