The Jamestown City Council put a project to build a new frozen yogurt operation on ice for another month Monday.

Interest rates are at record lows and they need a subsidy to start up? But yet, somehow, I can see Jamestown falling for this, just because it’s the only economic development they can get.

Why should we all pay for competition to our already existing ice cream and yoghourt stores? I don’t think that’s the purpose of these funds. Maybe fill a new niche instead.
