How many houses have been taken off the market & turned into student housing? Probably about 100. Sounds like the 600 person apt. development north of the Alerus is the equivalent of a man camp. Build a few more of those for students & free up some family housing stock.

In my neighborhood over 50% of the houses are now student rentals.

If you’re talking N 25th St all the way to the cemetary, you’re right.

That’s right. I only really know 4th,5th & 6th in detail but it seems it extends to the cemetary. Of course it includes much to the west of the Med. school too.

It runs all the avenues from between University to 10th and the streets in between 25th and 20th.

Between the flood and student housing, there is a real shortage of what would be starter homes. I’m not really sure how government could create a bunch of older, cheaper homes for beginners. I guess you could go the duplex route or something like that.

The used house salespeople are loving it. Buy now or be priced out forever!
