Perhaps, searing heat and a lack of rainfall will provide some clarity in Congress. Perhaps members will overlook their differences and take action.

For someone who is always involved with the news…..You sure have active blinders if this is what ou are seeing……It isn’t “Both sides refusing to compromise” It’s one side trying to compromise while the other side now ran by the “T’s” completely refuse to compromise on anything. Some have even said out loud that the Dems have to change to their ways….Hell Jacobs…They want a one party system…..How the hell does anyone who follows this stuff miss that? Or are you just like all the other so called “Free Press” unwilling to point out the obvious because ruffling certain feathers might cause blow back? Maybe these problems would actually get some results if the press started to do their job and call out the very people who are causing all this Crap-a-polosa

I agree. You see this “both sides” argument used a lot these days, when, if you look at it, turns out it’s the Republicans who aren’t budging. The issue is also seen when news people interview two people on opposite sides of something like global warming when one is a scientist with the backing of 99.9% of other scientists behind him and the other person is a raving lunatic who’s quoting from fringe internet sites. The people lose because they think of the issue as having two equal sides when it doesn’t. The media has to be a watchdog and they are falling down in their responsibilities.

The Senate passes a bipartisan ag bill, the House Republicans refuse to advance a House ag bill while voting to repeal Obamacare 33 times and then the Herald concludes the problem is both sides being unwilling to compromise?
I find this rather unbelievable.
The problem for the ag bill is clearly House Republicans.
