What a heartwarming story ! My only wish is that all human companion animals had owners as caring and with as much empathy for their pets as John does for Schoep.

There is at least one chiropractor in the Duluth area, and an acupuncturist who also work on dogs. I recommended these protocols to some acquaintances who took one of their Basset Hounds for treatments. They were very pleased. If Mr. Unger would like more information, I can find out who they visited and forward the information. A wholistic approach always seems to be a favored choice over drugs, especially narcotics. I wonder if he has given Schoep a regular plain old aspirin, which dogs can have (NOT cats), instead of heavy pain meds ? P.S. – This photo exudes such peace and tranquility. Water is so wonderfully relaxing. When my body enters the water, all stress and tension evaporates. Obviously, Shoep’s, too.
