You might want to announce this through seismic vibrations that can travel through mud because that is where your head would have to be to even consider voting for this guy again.

Hate America? Obama is against everything America stands for. Free enterprise, most untransparent presidency in history (and you guys complained about Bush, ha), longest streak of 8% unemployment in the history of our nation (and this is even with his admin trying to get everyone onto disability so there not on the unemployment numbers), will have incurred more debt in one term than all presidents before him combined. Put your head back in the mud Alice.

You “lefty-Loosies” -to use your terminoligy- are destroying America with your collectivism and entitlement BS.
Work hard, earn money, buy stuff for your self- it really is (and should be) that easy. Free markets and Small businesses will return us to prosperity as soon as Government gets the heck out of the way.

Not sure where you looked up the numbers Alex- the Congressional Budget Office reported for fiscal year 2011 the following:
Defense-19%
Social Security- 20% -
Medicare/medicaid 23%.
The remainder is for mandatory spending(some of which are entitlements) and interest payments.

What I don’t understand, Alice, is Obama’s attacks on Romney for shipping jobs overseas, while he INVESTS in companies KNOWN to ship jobs overseas, namely Apple and GE. *
Now I realize Obama doesn’t manage his investments while in office, but I would have thought he’d have instructed his investment manager after he was elected, and before taking office, to only invest in companies known to keep jobs in the US…kinda of a “put my money where my mouth is” type of move. I mean, the guy’s getting $74,000 / month income from his investments. If he’d invested in US growth companies it may not be that much, but the guy’s rich…what’s a few thousand bucks when integrity is at stake?
And then I also wonder why the Dems, when they held both Congressional houses from 2008-2010, did not enact tax legislation that would have fulfilled Obama’s oft repeated campaign promise to “end tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas”. Seems to me Obama should have pushed the Dem Congress to deal with the problem, if jobs really were that important to him. **

Yes, Obama took office at a challenging time. But were the economic problems solely the result of R policies and actions?
Put your partisian beliefs aside for 5 minutes and read this article (and yes, it’s on a conservative site, just try to get past that and read the article.) A new book, written by a senior economist at the Richmond Fed Res Bank, lays out an argument the Fed itself is responsible for the depth of the recession. The article is short, but the argument is compelling.
And you may want to check into the reasons another recession wave is hitting Europe, I doubt the US will go untouched. (My favorite global economics blog is: globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/ )

I see the right wing propaganda machine has done it’s job. They actually have people believing Obama created the mess we are in. Just go back to the fall of 2008 for a reality check. The collapse of the housing and financial sectors and the beginning of the worst recession in history.
Brett4: You might want to check who was in charge in the US House and Senate in 2007 and 2008 to determine who was responsible for the collapse of the housing and financial sectors. Obama was in the Senate and a part of this fiasco. He and the Democrats are truely responsible for the mess. Don’t try to confuse people with your inaccuracies.

Hudson is the perfect place to have an open house. Make sure it’s right next to Dick’s and Dibbos. Dibbos has live music and Dick’s serves a mean breakfast.
