For crying out loud – it’s listed under “OPINION”. It’s not suppose to be journalism.
The problem with the paper is most of the stories they write should be labeled “OPINION” as well.

Yes, the column is “opinion” which is fine and dandy. However it is such a sophomoric “cut and paste” job as to be laughable. It is factually incorrect in many instances; one of which is in reference to the Bay Bridge re-build. He facts are totally incorrect; as what she posted came from a piece of Internet hate mail. It takes about 20 seconds to find out that it false using Snopes.com.
I won’t even mention the poor sentence structure in several instances (ooops, I just did). This from a person who began her column by criticizing journalists and journalism. How sweet.
As I have posted before, Margaret Ontl’s columns do provide a dose of unintended humor on the Op-Ed pages.
How about a column on the “birth certificate”, Margaret?
