This will not make me feel any safer and the thought of any of my possessions sitting behind a desk being supervised by 17 year old’s kind of scares me. I think that this is just one of those cases to where someone believes that they should react to anything therefore they feel like they should do something. This does not seem like a rational action to prevent another tragedy like in Colorado.
So now someone will just have to dress up in drag to prop open the exit door?
Yeah, this is one of those policies that makes zero sense.
Dear people who think that we have to do something every time something horrible happens,

Checking bags is one thing. Taking them away and holding them behind a desk is quite excessive.

Typical – punish the average citizen for the deeds of the worst in our society. If folks are bent on creating havoc in our society, they will get it done one way or another.
