Most people do not realize but the winningest team at UND is not hockey, football, baseball, or soccer; it is the flight team. They have more national trophies than any other team on campus: by a wide margin.
Contests such as this are part of the yearly competition these pilots participate in. They are a lot of fun to watch, and as the article says, it is much more difficulty than it seems.

Absolute ‘ditto’ FN; it is difficult. I’ve been a lowly private pilot for many years (3700+ hrs). These events are fun and UND has the best aviation program in the world.
