Just to clarify jamesem……how would you define “pro-gay” in the example you cited ?
The only conclusion I could come to after reading your comments, is that before you hire anybody you inquire about their sex life and what type of people they like to sleep with.
I’d like to think (I guess it’s only a wish at this point) that we’ve moved past being preoccupied with the sex lives of others and concentrate more on important issues when hiring somebody…..like, can they do the job effectively !

they didnt hire ellen in ad campaign cuz they are pro-gay ( i think you mean pro-lesbian) they hired her cuz she is a funny, engaging and kicks arse.
