Something seems fishy about the insurance fraud claim. He returned the claim check immediately. He told the agent & investigator the paper work was for the wrong ring.
He certainly doesn’t seem to be hiding anything, didn’t go blow the cash, has been cooperative… Could it be that he just screwed up the paper work accidently?
I think its kind of wrong to be putting this story out there with his name without really knowing his side of the story.

You could be right, or he is trying to cover his rear.
Looks shady to me.

What I am seeing is the fact he reported the theft 2 months after the fact. Now maybe when he realized the ring was recovered he decided to return the check for fear the real value would be found and he wanted to avoid being investigated or implicated in fraud? Now there is no way a Jeweler does not know the value of his merchandise especially diamonds, and especially one that are priced that high. Mr wright knows he has a warrant and its anyones guess where he maybe but there maybe something else to this story? Certainly if Wright came back to the store on 4 different occasions why wasn’t he arrested then? The only thing I can say is they believe the jeweler attempted to defraud the insurance company and they are going on intent, and they believe he does know his inventory and every expensive ring he has and thought he could increase the value of a ring for financial gain?
