The flying at half-mast for Whitney Houston WAS too far. She was a singer, not a veteran. The flying half-mast for the victims in Aurora is understandable as that was a tragedy. Certain people who made great contributions to this nation may deserve that honor.
Then we get into what a great contribution, whats a tragedy, etc. Double edged sword.
