Right on Dr. Wolf. I never thought about the insurance industry this way, it is like a giant for profit leach on society, sucking profits from people when they are sick and inserting their rules into the decisions made on our health. I will never forget heading into surgery one day and we had to wait while the doctor himself spoke to the insurance company. It was absurd. I wish Congress had done what President Obama wanted and given us single payer care. The fact is Congress listened to insurance company lobbyists being paid with OUR mony that was supposed to go to pay the health care system. I support the Affordable care act as a step in the right direction but the last leaches left in health care are the insurance companies and I want them out!

Single payer should be our goal. Since in this country, we are all “equal”, and no one should be Healthier based on their monetary value.
