In spite of how disheartening news like this is and how it effects our trust in people, I can tell you there is one honest man still out there in the world and that is our Contractor who installed all our windows and siding on our house. We were expecting a final bill from the lumber company for odd’s and end’s and we did get a statement from them just as we expected. But it was a statement that said our account was paid in full. Our Contractor had returned all the left over materials he didn’t use. It completely took care of the bill and left us with $12.00 of credit on our account. It surprised us so much. He could have so easily kept the extra materials including nails and glue and extra rolls of that expensive housewrap tape and many other things and nobody would have known. But he didn’t. Honest people still exist. I think there are a lot of them out there. We just don’t get to hear about them.
