GOP questions Minn. Secretary of State’s dealing with amendment
July 20, 2012 at 7:00 pm in West Central Tribune
ST. PAUL Republicans say Democratic Secretary of State Mark Ritchie may be breaking state campaign laws by speaking out against a proposed constitutional amendment to be on Minnesotans’ ballots Nov. 6.

No Richie is not breaking any laws, and and as the Secratary of state he does have the right to question an amendment to the Constitution since this was not part of the orginal Constitution and can be questioned about its legality. This could also go in front of the Supreme court. Its Obvious the GOP wants to grandstand on this issue, which is nothing new.

Republican party has turned into a party of confusion with radicals forming all kinds of ill proposed bills which have hurt the average Americans trying to dig out of a mess Bush left this country in. First they claim they want a smaller gov yet propose bills against women that would need more gov oversight. They go after birthcontrol yet don’t want social programs because they claim they are being abused. Truth of the matter is it is a small percentage of those who abuse these programs. The Repubicans holler about Obamacare being unConstitutional yet they hand us the Patriot act. The hypocritcal party of no, needs to regroup and find better leaders.

GWB left us a Mess you say? The country only owed 3 trilion dollars from day one –1776 when HE left office. presz b o with his wonderful leadership and policies increased our debt to about 17 trillion. If as you say 3 trillion is a mess, what do you call the 17 trillion b o has caused? Waiting to hear your spin.

Democrats and Republicans have both strongly favored the Patriot Act jimmy.
jimmy “First they claim they want a smaller gov yet propose bills against women that would need more gov oversight” what bills have Republicans proposed against women? What is the number of the bill, I would love to read it. How would your imaginary bills create a need for more gov oversight?
jimmy “They go after birthcontrol yet don’t want social programs because they claim they are being abused” can someone, anyone, please explain this to me?
jimmy”Truth of the matter is it is a small percentage of those who abuse these programs”. That certainly came out of left field.
And of course my final question for you jimmy. WHAT DOES ANY OF YOUR COMMENT HAVE TO DO WITH THE TOPIC???

j d you post about ‘hurting’. How about this post below , doesn’t that hurt too?
DFLer Mn. SofS markie richie is not one bit different than DFLer Gov. Markie Dayton (add presz b o too). All three of these Democrats really believe that Federal and State Statutes do not need to be given the Honor , respect, obeyed (other than ‘ obamacare’), etc. if THEY do not like them.. On the other hand this bunch of democrats force us Americans (Minnesotans too) to obey their Laws , i e obamacare to the letter, even the ones that take away our religious freedom. Go figure.

So Jimmy, if I understand you correctly, we should never: Question anyones loyalty to the USA, especially a Democrat. Never try to stop anyone from abusing programs designed to help those who are in need of a TEMPORARY helping hand. Never try to stop people who want to vote or hold office, even if they aren’t legally allowed. Never detain, or stop those we know are out to do harm to the United States. Never expect a sitting Democratic President who said he had ALL the answers, and would correct ALL the problems or not run again, to live up to his promises. I think I could go on, but you should see the point, even though I know you won’t. Jimmy, PLEASE could you answer the question that has been nagging at me for 3 1/2 years. Why wouldn’t Barak Obama release his birth certificate for 2 1/2 years, if he had nothing to hide? I think you and most of his supporters know he’s not qualified to be President, since you have no answer.

Wrong Leroy, both parties did not welcome the Patroit act, and as a matter of fact when it was learned innocent Americans were having their phones calls recorded, and some people held without a trial, it opened up a controversy. Bush Cheney and Republicans brought this bill to vote and of course were not totally honest just as they were misleading many over the Iraq war. Please Leroy don’t try and correct the wrongs committed with the Bush adminsitrations, many know the real score and the massive amounts of money spent to fight these wars and bailout banks and insurance companies. When a country spends more money on wars then social services we are doomed socially. When people remain in denial based merely on party lines they obstruct democracy, which was happening under Bush…
