Around here there’s still the Long Drive In in Long Prairie that is a good place to watch movies.

What a great story! I went back to those very days while I was reading it. You are right Goser! We go to Long Prairie for the Drive in every year. Check it out at http://www.thelongdrivein.com It’s cheaper than the indoor theatres ($5 adult). If you go to the concession stand; and who wouldn’t, most nights you will actually get to see the film on the big horizontal spools where it is fed from and to the projector! Go up there early and you can watch them spool it onto these big platforms. It will be sad when the drive in theatres are all gone.
