Toni Smith hired by Nobles County to help with rebuilding process
WORTHINGTON Moving forward.
The phrase has been used a lot lately in Nobles County government after former county administrator Mel Ruppert’s tenure came to an end, and it isn’t a phrase used lightly. Continue Reading

Commissioners met with department heads for the first time in 4 1/2 years???
Is that not amazing, almost impossible to believe!?
Benson said he’s sorry they (the meetings) hadn’t happened sooner. Where were the commissioners? Handcuffed by Mel Ruppert? Were they that afraid of him? And now we’re hiring a facilitator to help the county “heal”? At what cost? The situation is out of hand and has been for a very long time, it appears. Benson et al are now apologizing for the lack of oversight (read: failure to do their job). Is this apology driven by the fact that they’re trying to keep their jobs?
I sincerely believe it is time for a COMPLETE turnover of commissioners. We have the historical and rare opportunity to bring in ALL NEW commissioners in one fell swoop. Any newcomer can do as good a job as the incumbents and I’ve been impressed with how several challengers have shared their visions for moving the County forward.

Some won’t let the healing begin. Still holding grudges and throwing daggers.

“Some won’t let the healing begin. Still holding grudges and throwing daggers.”—- The healing CAN’T begin until the “disease” is eradicated. Up until April(?) we’ll just have to sit back and let another (over), $100,000.00 go to the heart of the problem, whikle he sits at home laughing at the rest of the public.

Ruppert must have some pictures of the commisioners doing something they weren’t supposed to be doing, why would you hire back the problem for almost anither year………..

“Keeping it classy.”—- Not sure what keeping it “classy” has to do with anything. Ruppert and his minions are the farthest thing from “classy” you can get.
