Have we as a society lost our senses? Nearly $1bn for a stadium to the benefit of a company franchise!! A travesty.

If the licensee’s trade/job deals with public health or safety, state regulation and oversight is entirely appropriate. On the other hand, 700 days of experience just to cut hair is extreme.
I wouldn’t be comfortable receiving care from an unlicensed healthcare provider, but do we really need to license apprentices? Isn’t that oversight more appropriately left to the training body/institution/union? Final licensure is ultimately granted by the state via an exam anyway, so why add the extra burden of licensing apprentices.
