When you’re not helping sort mail, you’re trying to send out reports and answer e-mails,” said Postmaster Jason Hirst. “It’s just crazy.” Continue Reading

The town must reall be bursting at the seams. I had to laugh last week when I read about all the prostitution arrests and the sting operations in Watford City……Before the boom Watford City was about the size of Thompson. I went through it on the way to Williston about six months ago and it didn’t look all that much bigger, but there’s more trailers……And now this little town is having city problems……

Under the Postal Corporations “POST Plan”, there are still offices in western North Dakota that will be reduced to 2 or 4 hours of operation a day.
Sadly, there will be no employees that will work 2 or 4 hours day, six days a week. As far as there hiring, they are not getting employyes to apply. Who will work a non-career, no benefit position for these hours. On top of that alot of other places are looking for help with a larger salary and even benefits.
Notice how I called it Postal Corporation? It is not a service anymore, but a corporation. When you have Postal executives making more money thatn the Secretary of Defense, you know the greed is present in the Post Office Management.
