David Ponder, the father of quarterback Christian Ponder, is pleased the Minnesota Vikings drafted left tackle Matt Kalil to protect his son. “We’re huge fans of Matt,” David Ponder said with a smile during a Friday news conference at Scheels. Oh please, Joe Webb is a much better QB then Ponder ever will be. If the Vikings had half a brain Webb would be the starter. Anyway I guess this explains why the Vikings have an empty Super Bowl display.
