True Democrats are fed up with these retread liberal candidates that the national party insists on proping up to push failed keynesian monetary policies. Pat Kreitlow’s miserable Wisconsin Senate record kept him to one term as the very people that elected him overwhelmingly voted Republican and he was soundy defeated in 2010 by Terry Moulton.

With the newly shaped 7th district picking up historically conservative St.Croix County and shedding the largely misguided private union dominated cities of Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids Pat Kreitlow has little chance of winning anything more than a pat on the back from his new friend Russ Feingold.

This has got to be the most uneventful campaign season I’ve ever experienced in Wisconsin. With the Walker recall election wearing everyone to the bone and the presidential election hogging all the headlines it’s hard to believe we have a major primary in August that isnt getting any coverage. Too bad these House candidates don’t face a primary to make it interesting and weed out the weak. What’s the matter Don, got cold feet this time after your beat down from Julie Lassa in 2010?

As I tell my friends that thought I was insane for trying, “What defeat” or beat down if you prefer? It was me, $50 bucks from a Republican and a laptop lounging on my couch making a couple of websites VS. the Democrat $1,000,000 money machine propped up candidate Julie Lassa. Did I lose – yes. Did I pluck 5000 Democrat votes with a conservative message – oh yeah and “the man” did not like that one bit.
Until we stop allowing money to influence the way we vote, this country will continue to be in a whole lot of hurt.
