I for one feel this fair has gone way south, yet we seem to brag about how great it is. You look at the number of teenage kids up there and they all say the same thing. There is no rides to ride. Just once could we really go the extra mile and bring something in for our youth to enjoy. We are always trying to find things to keep them busy but yet we cant make the fair an enjoyable and fun time. It seems to me when I was a child we had numerous rides to go on. My son says that they have to stand in line forever to get on a ride. They had what 4 rides this year. Why not try to bring in a concert on the track front stretch? Concerts draw people! I think with the fair board charging $5/adult and $2/kid they could come up with some money to bring in a better fair for next year. All this takes is a little elbow grease and time. I put that up as a challenge for this fair board. Everyone likes a challenge, here you go. Lets see what happens in 2013!!!!!!
