“Autism rates are rising at a startling pace. One in 88 children nationwide now has the disorder. ”
NO! The increase in “autism” is due to relaxing the standards used to diagnose autism. The Government and special-interest groups want to diagnose as many individuals as possible, in order to panic the public into providing additional funding. Therefore, the “graduation requirements” were gutted so that additional people–and their families–could be told they have autism.
Autism will continue to become more common–as long as there’s tax money diverted to fund it.
