The picture says a lot.
Guy is in the passing lane, staring at a map with tons of crud obscuring his view from the rear view mirror.
But at least he’s wearing a seatbelt. right?
Priorities people.
Keep the windshield field of view clear, pay attention to the road, unless you are passing a vehicle move to the right lane and finally, if you need to read a map – Pull over.

the farther you go from a city, the more likely the GPS will have the wrong data. I know that at least three of the current marketed GPS systems that give directions from I-94 to an address within 5 miles of west fargo that will have you turning into an unplowed section line road with a big rockpile at the entrance. Oops.

i love the fact that the cost to get the maps updated cost more than that of a cheaper GPS unit.
Garmin wanted $90 to update the maps on my old unit or i could go get a new updated unit for $50.
I guess the units are disposable, like old maps.
