What the hell? When I lived out there they discouraged people from digging up fossels and could even be fined for taking them out of the park. Of course there was always reports about some big find now and then.
I used to hike and camp in the back country by myself from time to time and saw several interesting artifacts, but I always left them for the next people to find….I don’t like the idea of people dragging fossils out just for the sake of having them….

95% sure the foundation property is not within the N.P. Park rules are still the same.
