If they were splitting up the student body based on white/black, or white/minority, or “normal”/”special” there’d be no end of snivelling, complaints, riots, Al Sharpton, etc.

The Catholic schools did this for decades, until economic realities brought it to an end. Notice all the hyphenated high schools in the Twin Cities: Cretin-Durham Hall, Hill-Murray, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Shattuck-St. Mary’s.
