So if a religious organization adopts the belief that cancer is a punishment from god and they don’t want to interfere with god’s will by providing coverage for cancer medications or treatment, this would be okay to you? Your argument could easily be applied to defend the example above.
If a medication or medical procedure is available to an individual, all health insurance plans should cover everything. An individuals freedom of choice, under advisement from their trained medical professional should never be overruled by a religious authority.
