Welcome home. His return poses a dilemma. I have never been a Wild fan. Winnipeg & Denver have always been my preferred teams. Do I have to re-evaluate my loyalties now?
There’s never been a good reason to be a Wild fan until now. I’m a Parise fan and will support him wherever he plays. I hope the team is ready to work hard to make this deal a success. The good thing is that management and owners are finally doing something to improve the team. Too bad Zajac didn’t come along for the ride. Maybe later?
I’m surprised at his decision but in the end home is hard to beat. He’s getting married soon, he has a house here and his folks live here. The Wild are very lucky to have Zack and Suter and the fact that they are good friends was also a plus for Minnesota.
It’ll be an interesting year if they get a chance to play. Zach is an exciting player and has a fine work ethic. He was great when he dazzled crowds in North Dakota and he was a leader on the World Junior team and brought home the gold.
Best of luck to a great player and person. Enjoy the summer and have a great time at your wedding. You’ve got your whole life ahead of you and we’re glad you decided to come back home to share it with all of your fans here in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Im very impressed that he took the wild to be his team. i mean he downed blackhawks, and the flyers..which are obvious contenders for the cup. but then again he wants to be “closer to home.” and he got better deals from other teams. but he let his advisors and agent do the talking which i thought was very smart also. he’s set for life and will retire a wild.
Im a little interested where they will put him in the line. clutterbuck/koivu/parise? or koivu/heatly/him. Suter is a no brainer the wilds defense sucks beyond repair so im glad that the wild got him for the experience..
I’m looking forward to the next NHL season. Good luck Wild. Stay healthy.
