just so that it is o.k. with presz b o and his obamacare. Wouldn’t worry about the State , after all DFLer Dayton will BOW to any order issued by b o, no way would DFLer Gov Dayton cross any of presz b o’s wishes, never, never, not as long as is called DFLer Gov Dayton.

This is not about “obamacare”, carl – this is about improving health and social services in rural MN communities. Did you read the article, carl? It does talk about this being in the works for years now. “Obamacare” aside – health care in rural MN needs to be reviewed, retuned, and improved. A “one size fits all” approach isn’t working – we do not have the same resources available as thos ein the metro do, and implementing health and social programs the same in rural MN as in the metro isn’t effective.

Would agree with you BB, but when we get into the details of these agreements, the larger cities get the goodies and the smaller cities and towns get nothing but the availability of a service center a distance from their homes. The discussion and results become who is the winner and who is the loser not what is the best service. .
Having been involved in a metro settting and now in the rural area, the rural area areas are doing quite well in my opinion. I get just as good of healthcare here in the rural area as I did in the metro area and my providors know me by name not by a number on a chart. .
