The sheriff says “Here’s your gun, badge and keys. Don’t get me sued.” And that’s hostile, toxic or offensive.
And “incomplete and outdated handbooks” with “‘tear gas’ instead of mace”. Wow. That’s really bad.
How can Clarence Tuhy possibly sleep at night after creating such toxicity?

So let me get this straight, you feel totally comfortable with our Deputies not having the appropriate training, tools and proper support from their boss in a highly stressful job, out on the street protecting you and me from who knows what?!
I would think every citizen would want the men and women protecting them and their children from harm to be calm and confident, and well trained with every possible tool they may need.
All they want to do in their quest is to protect the public and to make it through another shift and go home to their families.
This cannot be accomplished by being stressed before they even hit the street.
We have and have had dedicated men and women working for Stark County, serving you and me with long hours, low pay, working holidays and weekends, while you enjoy the festivities. They deserve our support and respect to say HMMMMM what is really going on behind closed doors?
It’s like an abusive spouse or partner, rarely do you see their behavior in public.
Get real already, you are only seeing one side of Tuhy.

Ok whatever your personal feelings are on this. The point is this has been investigated and deemed that he isn’t fit for the job. When you weigh in the fact that they are investigating him for theft from a charity just multiplies how wrong it is for him to be in this position.
