When Wolfgang Gerdes applied for a disc jockey job at a radio station in 1976, he was met with the bleak response that with his hoarse voice, he would never be on the radio.

Thanks Wolf! I remember growing up listening to the show and playing air guitar in my bedroom. Mom was always telling me to turn it down but then another good song came on. Thanks again.

I am so sorry to see him go. I loved listening to the radio Thursday nights. It was the only time I could actually listen to a radio station in Alexandria and here some of the great 80′s rock. It’s hard to find that anymore. Thanks Wolf for the great tunes. You will be greatly missed, I hope you get alot of positive feedback and KX92 learns from it.
