Nowhere is it mentioned that the sheriff is an ELECTED official … chosen by popular vote. To the parasitical, ruling class this is just a minor inconvenience, and hiding behind closed doors, and soliciting lawyers to do their wet-work is their SOP (standard operating procedure).

Yea elected by people that are not seeing what is really going on in that office. Abusive people know how to cover up the abuse till someone gets brave enough to step out of the fear of repercussions. Abusive people are good at pretending to friends, family and voters that they are great caring people.
