Amen, you get tired of the insane stupid stuff the party of no is trying to do. You just don’t invent laws that circumvent the Federal laws, plain and simple. This is suppose to be the party that believes so much in the Constitution, yet try and slide past it whenever it benefits them.. There is justice!

A side note:
Has anyone else noticed the lack of conservative comments blaming the POTUS for the high gas prices lately?

Obama is responsible for the high gas prices. Still almost twice as much as they were when Obama took office!
Anyone notice that Obama is ignoring the economy and gas prices in his campaign? What a loser…

Things are looking up in AZ! The police now have the right back during routine stops to check the immigration status of anyone they suspect is in the country illegally.
This is sure to upset Obama because many of his voters will be arrested and sent back to their home country. It really is too bad he has to depend on criminals to get votes.

People like us huh, last I checked Obama is president, though not much longer. I was really shocked that you blamed Bush for Obama’s blundering. When you apologists for Obama have nothing else you always can blame George Bush.

blame Bush- who in their right mind would blame G.W. bush for uniting two shiite nations iran and iraq. Not the repub’s for sure. The dumb one ( aka bush ) just doubled our problem!! Where is the outrage from the conservatives about this?

Nice comment about the Arizona immigration law. Apparently your loss at the Supreme Court has muddled your thinking some. Are you going back on your own accord?

Obama is not responsible for high gas prices simply because they were high when he took over, and have gone up and down like a yoyo. What does this have to do with the immigration laws from Arz being overturned? I wonder why none of the immigration laws by these states appeared when Bush was President? The immigration laws these states tried to implement caused the states huge financial issues because the claims made that illegals were taking all the jobs, turned out to be the jobs no one wanted! Heck I would not want them either, working in farms doing back breaking work for 10 to 12 hrs for less then 10 bucks an hour! Just google Alabama, as well as Georgia and find out what happened after these laws were implemented. Georgia then tried using inmates from private prisons to help save farmers fields after illegals left town taking their kids, which costed the farmers millions. People need to take a better look at all the facts before forming such a opinion about laws that are better left to the feds. Hopefully we figure the immigration laws out and work together rather then cutting off your nose to spite your face…

Not true darla/bac. Saying that there are not enough immigrants to do the job is not anywhere near saying not enough illegal immigrants.

When Obama took office gas prices were in the $1.80 to $1.90 range. That is a FACT.
If illegal immigrants were not doing the jobs the employer’s would have to offer legal Americans more money for the job. I am surprised jimmy that you are so willing to give away so many potential union jobs away to illegal immigrants.

Not true Elton what presidential era are you in? When Obama became President gas was almost 3 dollars a gallon and while Bush was President gas was over 4 dollars in some areas and was over 3 dollars in 2007 and 2008! Check your facts again Elton…

Elton it is pointless and baseless to blame any President for the cost of gas. Which is why I didn’t and still don’t blame President Bush for the $4.11 per gallon spike in prices on July 17 2008. Seriously, show me with facts you can back up as to why any sitting President can be blamed of the price of gas.

Actually – here are some FACTS about gas prices:
http://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/
To see a history of gas prices in the USA, click on “FULL HISTORY” next to the first group of information (U.S. Regular Gasoline Prices) This will open a spreadsheet file. The history of gas prices, in many cases, goes back to 1994, sometimes 1990.

Funny – how putting a link up to some factual data (that is not based on opinion) gets thumbs-down votes.
All the griping that goes on – all the demanding for links and facts and proof…
So, people dislike data??
Ok then…

Very good link Ms Belle. The data does indicate that the price was $1.89 in January of 2009 which doubled would be $3.78. Shortly after that the price of gas escalated to over $3.00 per gallon and has never been below that in almost 4 years.
Thank you for the information.

Bush wrecked this economy and never did a thing with immigration. Bush and Cheney started 2 wars, ran the deficit up into the trillions and gave bailouts that totaled over a trillion when it was all said and done. Small business went out of business like dominos, gas prices strangled out family budgets, devastated tourist areas, yet CEO’S were bailing out with golden Parachutes. The housing market crash saw millions lose their homes, their jobs and by the time Bush was done his approval rating was 26%, one of the worst! Reagan had the same effect on the economy plus nothing was done about immigration issues. Big businesses were in bed with Reagan and over a million lost their jobs due to Reagannomics just in his last 2yrs of his dying administration! Reagan allowed big business to move into the Whitehouse were they had his blessing to set the tone that has lasted right through the Bush administration. Some people hate the truth but that is too bad, Republicans have killed small business, created enormous healthcare costs, and have the worst record for creating jobs. Its no wonder with the policies that they adapt and their attitude towards the average working person which has single handed destroyed the Middle Class that people are not voting in another Republican for President! Hey If you don’t believe me about what the Republicans have done to the middle class just ask Elton aka Brain…

This confirms what Republicans have said all along. This is a tax. Did the President not tell us that he would not raise taxes on the middle class? This bill was passed by Democrats stating it was not a tax? They lied? How shamefull.
I agree with some of the pieces of this law (no precondition issues, children covered up to age 26, insurance made availble to those that needed based on income) but will never agree with the individual mandate.
This will rally conservatives like never before, it would have been better for Obama if they had struck down the individual mandate. Thank you Justice Roberts.
