Fourteen mechanics and parts employees at the Krenzen car dealership in Duluth walked off the job Monday morning and began striking after employers failed to return to the bargaining table.

Unions are quickly losing their clout, it is time to accept the fact that the unions are dinosaurs and not worth the hassle.

Then why do people complain about wages and benefits so much? People constantly complain about how things like healthcare and retirement are so hard to come by. It’s not written in stone that you have to work a union job. Don’t want to pay dues,work elsewhere.

I’m not sure where you get your info, however almost all of the dealership mechanics have a degree from an accredited college and extensive post college education!
To ask the mechanics to do the work in less time than the guidelines state can not only be harmful to the auto if its not fixed right it can endanger the safety of the owner if something is not done right in a hurry. Also there is no mention of shop rates going down so basically they are fighting not only for their rights they are fighting for the customer!
