Obama not hiding his socialist bent
June 22, 2012 at 7:00 pm in The Dickinson Press
Are we watching the meltdown of Barack Obama, soon to become a radioactive pile from which voters will run come November? Or are we instead witnessing the stirrings of a kind of political phoenix heretofore unseen in American history? Continue Reading

I did not vote for Obama in 2008. Having said that, newspaper columns such as this one from Diana West push me closer and closer to voting for Obama in 2012. I don’t really want to, but I don’t see any other choice available.

I wonder how many people realize that ND has a socialist component. The hard times during early part of the 20th century brought some of this about. The State Mill and Elevator and the Bank of North Dakota are examples. They are companies that are normally in the private sector but are owned and run by the state. It seems that these entities have served the people of ND quite well. Is President Obama really toxic? We should all be intellectually honest and vote for the candidate that serves our country and citizens the best.

Of course Obama is a socialist. So are most Americans. Even big gov’t Ronald Reagan Republicans won’t give up the unsustainable, Ponzi-scheme, social-programs AKA Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. For them, the 100 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities is just something that has to be “reformed.” Hey! It’s basic math – it can’t work.
And … as Ben Bernanke has affirmed, it was the fed that created the Great Depression. As a result, when people were starving, the gov’t rescued them. Which is analogous to the Stockholm Syndrome: captives looking their abusers for security.
And like all socialist/Marxist/Communist/Collectivist nations, American has a ruling class, and the working class is declining further and further into poverty.
