My grandmother’s doctor at Altru just used an econsult last month. He was debating sending her to Mayo. The Mayo doc confirmed that her Altru doc was managing her appropriately. The Mayo doc gave a couple of other suggestions if she didn’t improve. Now she doesn’t have to travel to Rochester and she got a free second opinion from a world renowned medical facility. This is win win for Altru and their patients and the community.
