He does have a point, in a crowd of flags the North Dakota flag does not stand out. I for one like the green and gold design of the flag. But I am a NDSU grad. I doubt that UND students and alumni would support a state flag with the same colors of their in state sports rival.

Yes, he has a point. But his design is ugly. If you’re going to change the flag, make it nice and rememberable – like the Arizona flag. It’s probably the easiest one to remember and spot. ND should model a new flag after their license plates to give it a rememberable background color.

I propose you split the flag 2/3 1/2 blue on top, green on bottom, then stick a Wind turbine and an oil rig on there in black.
