They may be spreading, but its not by chance…its because the game and fish planted them across the area. I saw a few in a cage in the back of a ND Game and Fish pickup about 3 years ago – he was parked as a gas station filling up along Hwy 2.

I think you got ahold of some bad meth three years ago. Fish and Game is not “stocking” cougars anymore than they are “stocking” coyotes. Sometimes they move problem animals away from houses or farms because someone complained. That isn’t the same thing as planting them somewhere in the dark of night.
If anything is happening in secret, it’s “Wildlife Services” killing animals left and right, even bald eagles and wolverines. They don’t even allow press into the field with them. Even the military allows press in the field, but not “Wildlife Services.” I call shenanigans.

If G & F is moving them around, then drop them off at my legislators ranch, where his cattle are at.
Bet that would stop that “relocation” in a hurry.
