Yes, that’s right. It can only be greed and nothing else. Housing prices go up. They’ve gone up in California astronomically. But that couldn’t simply happen because of market forces, and natural supply and demand. It can only be greed. Nothing else.

It is free enterprise. They were given chance to buy the house. Go to the bank and qualify for a loan. Save your money up for a downpayment. Get the city to be progressive and build infrastucture. Developers will come if everything is in place and it eventually will level out.

As much as it is greed, we were put in the same situation. So we qualified for a loan and bought our house. Our mortgage payment is 60% less than what our rent was. I know not everyone qualifies for a loan but it is a free market, even if it greedy.
