First-look budget includes tax increase for Farmington

When Farmington city administrator David McKnight presented his first draft of the 2013 city budget with a tax levy increase of 11.29 percent, he knew it would not go over well.

Seriously, Have you looked at forcloser notices in this publication lately? How’s the buisness park doing? Is it at full capacity? Here is a suggesting for you, fire all the public sector union workers and replace them with non-union at sustainable waige and benifit packages. to give me the bunk line of not being able to attract quality workers with out the unions.
How long until you all get a clue?

taxpayer28 is right on target, but don’t stop there…the city staff is paid WAY too much for a city our size, but they are the ones who set the salaries so of course they are high! The people who dislike the comment above are the city workers who are sitting in their trucks or at their desks with nothing better to do then to surf the web at our expense!
