Congratulations, Dennis. You are sounding more and more like a dyed-in-the-wool left-wing fanatic socialist with almost every column you write. Just read what you wrote about the Bolsheviks. You sound more than apologetic for them as you attack Ayn Rand. Then you go on to attack Paul Ryan with your flimsy excuse for journalistic excellence, suggesting his sole purpose in life is to undo your precious socialist programs like Social Security, Medicare and the ludicrous health ‘care’ program.
Tax the rich, you suggest? You could tax the very lifeblood out of the ability and incentive to invest in business to create new jobs by decimating the wealth and achievements of those who have taken so many risks for America and there still would not be enough to put any sort of dent in this massive debt, much less to save Social Security and Medicare from fiscal disaster.
In all experiments with socialism throughout history, eventually governments runs out of other people’s money. It is happening right here in America, but the Left is too ignorant to realize it. We cannot borrow 40 cents out of every dollar spent without a complete economic collapse. We cannot continue to borrow our way to prosperity. It simply does not work.
