If you believe the rhetoric from Berg, Hoeven, Dalrymple and all of the other Republicans, their policies are the reason for the budget surplus. It certainly can’t have anything to do with record oil production and the recent record high commodity prices. Now if I can just get them to put some oil below my house, all would be well!

Kevin, the Republicans have done an outstanding job of managing the wealth that has come in. If the democrats had their way, the money would all be wasted on welfare programs for deadbeats who are too lazy to work.
