Mining occurs where the minerals are. In this case, they are outside of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, not inside where mining is not allowed by law. We need the copper, nickel and paladium, not to mention the associated jobs. Good to see early projections of adequate minerals to make the mines profitable and able to employ northeastern Minnesotans.
