So Scott Walker won the Wisconsin recall election. What now?
June 9, 2012 at 9:15 am in Duluth News Tribune
The triumph of a second victory at the polls may be in hand for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, but he doesn’t lack for challenges to tackle as he completes his first term. Continue Reading

Not sure why this is in the “News” section, and not the “Opinion” section. Pretty disgustingly one sided, and clearly Op-Ed material.

I’d say the large margin of victory in a recall election (the only one in history where the one recalled won) is a pretty big sign of respect.

Fastone…..for over a year, Walker has been occupied with the recall effort ……started by……you can fill in the blank here! So, the recall has pretty much stymied his work for more than 1 year…..hope the left is satisfied with the results…..and certainly NOT in Wisconsin’s best interests!

LMAO…of course it’s the Democrats fault that Wisconsin is worst in nation on job front for two years…lawdy…and Bush should get credit for catching Bin Laden and it’s Obama that added 5.3 trillion to our deficit with TARP and not Bush right?
Walker seems to have found time to give 143 million away in revenue to out of state corporations that contribute to his campaign that Wisconsin taxpayers have to pay for. He also found time to push thru Voter ID bill that would cost 126 million to implement that’s hung up in courts. He found time to get passed DNA testing for everyone arrested, no conviction necessary. He found time to nix Federal funds and a high speed rail project that would have helped Milwaukee and Madison. He even found time to come up with his own formula so could skewer statistics right before the recall vote to mask his horrible job growth record and raise funds for his legal defense in corruption probe. So apparently if it’s pushing Republican agenda’s or for self serving interests he has time for it but if is for helping Wisconsins dismal job record, well, that’s the Dems fault?
He ran on campaign promise to create 250,000 jobs and halfway into term not only is Wisconsin worst in nation on jobs but he obviously doesn’t have a clue how to accomplish it.
Yeah, it’s the Democrats and unions fault for sure…~rolls eyes~. And you even have it twisted…it’s the Repubs that are happy with the results, their partisan agenda is so obvious and they’ve been able to dupe everyone with a stereotype of lazy union workers as the boogeyman and it’s not Dems that are buying that nonsense, it’s obviously the gullible Repubs.
If Republicans didn’t now have the ability of corporations funding their SuperPacs and if there weren’t more registered Democratic voters then Republican and if Unions weren’t a major contributor to Democratic campaigns if you think we’d even be discussing unions as a topic or be passing voter ID laws if none of that were true then you’re just a fool.
Voter ID laws sole intent is to disenfranchise Democratic voters to whittle down the numbers advantage Democrats have over Republicans. The outright toxic talk and attack on unions including the right to work laws have but one purpose, to hamstring the unions ability to finance campaigns and to shrink their available funds for it while Repubs at same time are blantantly giving away out front door everyone’s tax money to reward corporations for supporting them.
Sigh…yeah…it’s all the Dems fault and they’re the one’s really happy with creating an openly hostile and toxic enviornment and seeing Wisconsin going down the tubes.

The recall was partisan bs. I see no incentive for Walker to do anything different.

and who is running Milwaukee? None other than the Democratic candidate, Mr Barrett. So in you’re warped world, it is walker who is responsible for jobs lost under the Barrett administration? Really? Then the Obaminator really is responsible for all the stuff you blame GW for, eh?

Typical Liberal Main Stream Press it just irritates the heck out of them that Walker Won! The Main Stream press is so slanted to the left no wonder more folks get their news off the internet these days where there is more choices to pick from and not so biased.

Yes you can pick your news. Find the news that fits your view. Now facts and science to back up the news you like may be in question, but at least you like your news choice. Good for you.

Using Fastone’s logic, Obama is responsible for the loss of over 4 million jobs, the current economy and the botched recovery merely because he was in office.

e did, and were it not fro this silly recall BS and the obstructionists democrats in the senate, even more than the 33,000 would have been created. And we still have 2 more years to see what happens.
Before you get too carried away with Walker, you should take a closer look at all the promises the Obamination Himself made to get himself elected. His record speaks for itself, and that’s why he isn’t running on his record, but away from it!

BTW…in Obama’s first year with mess handed him, he did lose 4.2 million jobs but we lost 4.4 million jobs under Bush also in the year before Obama took office so unclear which 4 million job losses are referring to? But in last year Obama has gained 5.2 million jobs. I rounded off, the actual net gain of jobs under Obama is 1.1 million. That’s compared to Bush’s 1.3 million job creation over 8 years!!
Rereading your post…are you admitting that it’s not Obama’s fault that the economy tanked and admitting it was Republicans flawed economic policies and deregulation that caused our economy to flat line? Sure appears that way… so let me be first to welcome you back to reality from the world of Republican make believe and sound bites. I would recommend you avoid all talk radio and Faux news for some time though to avoid any relapse.

so he won the recall election what now?? with all that out of state money pouring in you would think he would run for president next since he has so much backing throughout the country. And next stop….stripping away rights for private unions as well and putting obstacles in the way of democratic leaning voters to discourage them from voting. AND WAYYY DOWN THE LIST is getting those promised 250,000 private industry jobs since we all know he doesnt care about the average citizen just the ones that pump money into his campaign.
