It is interesting that the representative and CEO of the hospital which received the lower grade of C, dismissed and questioned that grade while the representative for the hospital receiving the higher grade of B interpreted that grade as a need to improve the safety record of the hospital. Perhaps, these two different responses reflect two different philosophies regarding maintaining a safe hospital environment.
