BUXTON The high school football careers of Central Valley’s Ethan Proznik and Dusty Schildberger are in need of a 2-minute drill. The seniors-to-be from Buxton might even need a Hail Mary. Continue Reading

We need to get these 2 kids on the playing field this fall. What wrong was committed by them? Last year there were 7 graduating Senior football players on the team and a total of 14 players. This year there is 2 Seniors that really want to play. The consolidation started 2 years aga and involved 3 schools. 2 earlier offers were made to CV but really were one sided to the schools presenting them. The board could not live with the results. Hlb made a great last offer that could not be refused but it was too late for the NDSHAA to grant the football Co-op. Now these 2 boys are the damage of that result.
We do not want to create a slippery slope? And I am betting the board sees the boys as world class athletes? What will one year with 2 more players do? Lets get our priorities straight, and make a decision not based on a rule in a book. I only hope the Board will review this circumstance and make it right.
