If you make it to the end of the article, you find out that the newly elected tea party candidates have the lowest vocabularies of all. Big shock.

So the “dumb and dumber” approach to leadership is what you think is best? No wonder the Chinese are taking are collective national asses to the cleaners.

Your name calling is solid. Now a good come back would be to “Blame Bush”. You are right about the Chinese as our current leadership has added $5,000,000,000,000 to our debt in three years.

I sure don’t see anything wrong trying to keep things simple.
Politicians are among the worse when it comes to double-speak, forked tongues and confusing dialog….followed by preachers and lawyers.

I believe that Obama talks at a 4th grade level.

At what grade level is ObamaCare written? I would say 20+. But what is it worth?

Who knows? No one ever has ever read the bill. Especially those who voted on it.

ROFL. Politicians need to speak in one syllable words because that is all that will fit in the 30 second soundbite for the evening news that speak to the electorate who cannot understand words of more than one syllable either.

Obama’s State of the Union speech was given an eighth grade rating. The lowest score since 1934. His three addresses have the lowest grade average of any modern president.
His average score is 8.4…more than two grades lower than the 10.7 grade average for the other 67 addresses written by his 12 predecessors.
It’s in part a reflection on his audience…due to the fact the speech is televised and not just a simple address to congress.

The study also shows that the Average American speaks at an 8th-9th grade level. So the question is, is this really “dumbing down” in politics or just making speeches that the average american can understand better?
