Romney clinches GOP nom
May 29, 2012 at 7:00 pm in West Central Tribune
WASHINGTON Mitt Romney clinched the Republican presidential nomination Tuesday with a win in the Texas primary, a triumph of endurance for a candidate who came up short four years ago and had to fight hard this year as voters flirted with a carousel of GOP rivals. Continue Reading

Nothing is going to change the damage done to Land, Water, and Air, till some how or another us Americans can stop presz BHO from giving, spending, etc., trillions of our income tax dollars to these special friends. The Democrat-FARMER- Labor (aka DFLers ) Party. Had HE not caused this 17-18 trillion dollar deficit with HIS poor management ability, no way would Farm Prices of Eight Thousand dollars a acre (just recent a farm sold by Benson) be that high. All those trillions of dollars are bound to make those farming plant each and every inch of ground they can after draining, tiling. .Pure Gold, the heck with the rest of it. Am sure the DFLer from the 7th District (C.P.) got presz b o’s word, policy, out to the faithful the last few days while he was in Mn. campaigning. Am afraid we have to live with it, if WE Americans can’t control what presz b o is doing to all of us.

When it comes to the key issues, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are exactly the same. Both will protect the bankers and both will comply with CFR for more wars. The truth of the matter is that this country is being held captive by some very rich and powerful individuals who control many things, One being the media. Since most people learn all they know from watching television, then, whoever controls television controls the voting process. I do not believe that Romney has won. This is merely propaganda by the people that own the news. Right now the bankers are creating all the new money and charging interest on it. They took the money creation power from government and given it to themselves. So we are constantly in debt, paying high taxes, and going to war to spread this scheme.

Well, right now I’m about where I was when the shrub was running the second time. “Give the guy who’s in a chance instead of taking a chance on the bozo who lies his backside off to win”.
Romney doesn’t appear a bit better than the Democrat challengers to GWB were. What were the names again?…

Big deal, Mitt winning the nomination was going to happen because everyone in the race including Mitt has been the worst candidates the GOP has presented, its just that Romeny is sitting on a quarter of a billions dollars from gutting companies and being able to pay less taxes then many of us due to his stocks. Mitt ranked 46 in the nation for job creation while gov, yet he continues to hammer on Obama. I am confident Obama will win a second term due to the inner urban voters who will be out in full force to support Obama. The GOP continue to mislead and try to convince voters Obama is slipping because this is the only way they stand a chance. The GOP tried coming up with more roadblocks such as voter ID because simply put they are running scared. Oh by the way Edwards was found not guilty on one charge, and the judge declared a mistrial on the rest. Well Elton I guess your wish didn’t come true! Hey on a brighter note the feds are now investigating gov Walker, I wonder what this is about? Stay tunned!!!!!Yes the double crosser to the working man and women may have to answer for something he may have been involved in. Hopefully this rich mans political whore will finally be ousted?

This is the bottom line in regards to the Republican party and their previous 8yrs under bush that left this country in a recession that nearly rivals the Great Depression. Now if that would have happened Americans could have been deeply grateful to Democrats who implemented some safety nets such as SS, Medicare, and unemployment compensation, in the event something as dire ever reared its ugly head on American citizens. What we call business 101, a simple step to applying common sense practices in a complicated but rather simple method of fixing the issues such as education and over spending by gov red tape. To fix education and eliminate Mitts so called fix, and Obama’s end around, we simply reduce one billion of the 40B given to homeland security for their annual budget and apply that to a government education funding you would make a world of difference and re-enforce the states budget for education each year! Our defense budget is greater then Russia, Korea, and Great Britain combined which is very telling. I believe some of this funding can be allocated into an education budget that with more improved over sight and accountability could successfully improve our public education system. Romney wants to turn over public education to the private sector, and again the question begs to be answered, the private sector looks out for their bottom line, nothing more. They have been known to skip certain procedures, engage in shortcuts, and end up with high turnover. The Private sector has an anti-union mentality that leaves teachers and administrative personal looking over their shoulders. Also it is fair to say the private sector motivated by money end up short changing the teachers!

Unemployment climbs to 8.2%. Job creation 69,000 in May. Stock market reacting this morning and currently down over 1%. More unemployed dropping out of the job market and not longer being counted in the “official” unemployment numbers.
No matter how much you attack Republicans jimmy the facts show that Obama is a failure and needs to be replaced.
Obama has admitted in private discussions that his Health Care Reform is doomed but when he does mention it via taxpayer funded TV ads it has a great future. The few times he mentions it himself he says one thing but in private another.
So go ahead with your weak attempts to divert attention from Obama’s obvious failed presidency. I like the fact that you have nothing positive to say abut Obama so all you have left is negative speculation about Republicans.
President Romney has a very nice sound to it, looking forward to completing the job in November!

Elton don’t be fooled by the unemployment percentages because those are usually always around that number give or take a percent of so. When Bush left office it was 8.5 and climbing, and finally started to slow in the last year and a half. The factors are housing, construction, and small business. The job market is always the last thing to recover, and the slowest so which is what you learn in college. The Republicans screaming in terms of unemployment, are merely exaggerating the unemployment picture for political gain. This in no way a reflection of Obama, as it was with Bush, because actually Obama was not responsible for the whole economic picture when it collpased in 2007! If it wasn’t for Obama’s stimulus, the unemployment picture and small business would have taken a bigger hit. Obama’s work with the auto industry worked better then he was given credit for. Chrystler hired on an additional 1500, workers last year because of their new line of economic cars, and a steady imporvement of the economy. All three auto makers are enjoying better then expected sales especially GM who Obama took over until it became profitable. The stimulus worked right here in MN with several companies calling back workers who were laid off. Some companies are putting out projections and figures that are not accurate or are put together by a self appointed agenda. Also the polls are far from accurate, and again can vary depending on where they are taken and who is doing the polls. More urban cities are in favor of Obama then people realize, and don’t trust a power hungry wealthy candidate who has no proven record, and no real work on fighting poverty or even crime!

When Obama took office the unemployment rate was 7.8%. Obama promised it would not go over 8%. Tell me jimmy, why would Obama say it would not rise of 8% if it really was at 8.5% already?
Yes jimmy, that was an easy one. Was that an intentional lie or just a guess?
Unemployment remains above 8% and did go up again in May 2012.
You first statement was untrue, as are the rest jimmy. It is time get real jimmy and acutally check out the facts before posting all these incorrect statements.
I feel sorry for people like you who refuse to educate yourself and merely swallow the DFL koolaid.

Elton you are reading right wing propaganda because the unemployment rate was much higher after Bush left. More then a million jobs and small businesses went under due to Bushes policies, so maybe some better research on your part is called for. The housing market crashed caused wide spread economic failure simply because Bush ignored the foreclosure crisis. There were more CEO’s bailing out with millions under the Bush era then any other President. When the CEO’s bailed out with their golden parachutes, and the companies went under, they were rewarded with the Bush bailouts. Come on Elton you mean to tell me that Obama is responsible for this mess? Its obvious you will say, and do anything to justify the failure of the Bush era, and the high unemployment and foreclosures under his command. People like you expect Obama to repair all this damage in four years, that took 8yrs to create. Two wars, trillions in money to support these wars, and the total neglect of the infrastructure was Bushes responsibility. Oh, and Elton I believe Mittwit seems to have a better ring to it since this guy has made some stupid comments, while flip flopping his way through the campaign. His record as gov is not only a failure, but this ex-gov failed to create jobs. The guy is so far out of touch its a joke, and if this is the best the Republicans can do, then they will have to wait until 2016! Another empty suit with a large bank account, and no substance.

OK jimmy I agree with you. Obama is so stupid that even though the unemployment rate was, as you say, 8.5% he promised that it would not go above 8% if his excessive spending plan was approved.
My God jimmy, are you really that stupid? Time to open your eyes and see the facts jimmy.

Yup…BO isn’t making jobs at all (27 straight months of new private sector jobs)….considering we had the worst recession next to the great depression….next you will say, “recovery isn’t fast enough”….i’m sure that someone that laid off thousands of workers and raided pensions for profit will know how to make jobs faster….since his past job was the complete opposite of being a job creator.
